When the lymphatic system becomes sluggish, the body often leaves little clues. Your body is always communicating with you.
Some of those signs may include:
⦾ Feeling puffy or swollen
⦾ Bloating, especially around the abdomen
⦾ Fluid retention in the face, legs, or ankles
⦾ A feeling of heaviness in the body
⦾ Skin that appears dull or congested
⦾ Tension that feels "stuck" in certain areas
⦾ Feeling sluggish or less energized than usual
⦾ Feeling like your rings, socks or clothing are fitting tighter than usual
⦾ Feeling like you're holding onto more than usual
⦾ Feeling disconnected from your body or not quite like yourself

This is where we work together. I almost always recommend starting with 3 sessions. Why? Because 3 sessions gives your body an opportunity to begin releasing what it has been holding onto. Think of it as a good clean for the system.
After those first 3 sessions, we check in together.
How is your body feeling? What are you noticing? What support does your body need now?
From there, we decide what feels best for your body.
Every body is different and that's why there is no one size fits all answer. This work is about building a relationship with your body and learning what it needs.

Simple preparation can make a big difference.
⦾ Drink plenty of water the day before and the day of your appointment.
⦾ Avoid alcohol the day before and the day of your session.
⦾ Skip coffee the day of your appointment, this will dehydrate your body!
⦾ Use the bathroom before we begin so you can fully relax.

How you support your body afterward matters too.
⦾ Drink plenty of water
⦾ Continue moving your body gently with a walk or light movement
⦾ Avoid intense exercise immediately after your session.
⦾ Avoid alcohol for the rest of the day
⦾ Choose nourishing foods and avoid anything that leaves you feeling heavy or sluggish
⦾ Honour what your body needs after your session, if its rest the body needs, give it that.

Absolutely! You are welcome to book while on your period.
That said, I always invite you to listen to your body during the first few days of your cycle.
For many women, days 1–3 are a time for rest, softness and slowing down. If you're experiencing heavier bleeding, cramping or feeling more tender, it may be best to give yourself that space.
After those first few days, many women find treatment helps ease bloating and leaves them feeling lighter and more comfortable in their body.
